一、What is a fault zone?

After the rock layer or rock mass is damaged by force, the rock blocks on both sides of the fracture undergo significant displacement. This fracture structure is called a fault. 二、Application of hollow anchors in fault zones

(1) Meaning

Hollow anchor, also known as self-drilling hollow grouting anchor, consists of anchor rod, anchor coupling, anchor nut, drill bit, pallet, etc. It is an anchoring system mainly used for excavation support in fault fracture zones. (3) Application:

2. Drilling grouting: During the drilling process, grouting is performed by rotating the grouting joint, and the hollow anchor rod and grouting pipe are connected to the drilling rig so that drilling and grouting are completed at the same time;

3. Hollow anchor lengthening: If the length of a single self-drilling anchor does not reach the designed drilling depth, it can be connected with a coupler to meet the design requirements;

4. Install plates and nuts: After grouting is completed, install plates and nuts on the parts of the self-drilling hollow anchor exposed to the construction surface to ensure the anchoring effect.
